Salty Patina Effect, 100 or 400 gr - Vintage Paint

White powder that is mixed into the paint to thicken it, the powder does not change the color.

Stir the powder into the amount of color you want to use and apply the paste to the surface where you want the effect, you can paint another color underneath and/or over. The paste dries more slowly than the paint itself and once it is dry, which takes a few hours, you can start scraping or sanding the surface to bring out the effect and any other colour underneath.

Depending on how much powder you use, you can influence whether you want a coarser or a finer texture, you don't have to use it all over your object but can choose to apply it to selected places
