The wooden writingdesks have been treated with wax treatments repeatedly in production so these furniture is well prepared for your home. Of course, you should take care of your furniture and we have a spraywax from Leathermaster who does the job, a desk in this class should be taken care of and then it will last for many years and generations!

Artwoods java oak.

Java oak is a wood that is often found in Artwood's furniture, it is not, that maybe the name suggests, oak from Java, it is another tropical fast-growing tree that reminds about teak a lot, but has a slightly softer surface-structure. The surface at the java Oak is treated with an environmentally friendly water-based wax that is pigmented to get the fine color that the wooden furniture has in Artwoods assortment.
