Choose the right seat height for your bench height

For the bar stool to be comfortable to use, it needs to be the right height in relation to your worktop. As a guideline, a chair with a seat height of about 65 cm is suitable for a kitchen island or bench that is 90 cm high. If you have a higher bar counter of 100–110 cm, a seat height of around 75–80 cm is recommended instead. Keep in mind that there should be around 25–30 cm between the seat and the counter top for optimal comfort.
