Maja's Cottage is started by Petra and Pierre, a couple in the south of Sweden with a solid background in home decor. The Maja's most famous are its lanterns, Majalyktan, and its co-operation with cancer research.
This is based on personal experiences of this disease with friends who have suffered, but also for a preventive reason to do what they can to protect themselves and their family from suffering of this terrible disease.
Today, the Majas is not only lanterns, but it is growing more and more where other products also contribute to cancer research.
"Majalyktan" is available in many different colors, sizes and shapes, and it is always new desigedn lanterns that physically illuminate our existence, but also help lift hope in the fight against cancer.
Porcelain
There is a fine assortment of pocelain and you will find both lattecups, tea mugs and other fine porcelain and especially in really nice design. Majas are good at building series and you can compose nice gift packages that harmonize with each other.
Food
It's more and more food in the same nice program with the cancer prevention fund, the great thing about this is that you not only buy a product, you also buy something nice considering the 10% that goes into the research against cancer.

Maja's Cottage produces more and more decor and other gift items such as scented candles, Christmas stars and lots of other fine decorative details.
Holidays
One of Maja's specialties is to produce special products for all the occasions of the year like Christmas, New Year and halloween and all occasions you can imagine.
