The candle holder is made by skilled artisans in India in accordance with the WFTO's ten principles of fair trade. The company works to improve living conditions for economically disadvantaged communities through fair wages, good working conditions and its own social projects. These include running three schools with a total of 260 pupils, as well as water purification, sanitation and health check programmes.
